Where-o-where have I been? I can't believe it has been so long since I blogged...I have said this before, but I really need to keep up on this. Make myself be crafty every week and share my love of card making. I have to find the discipline...I know it is in me somewhere! Just need to find out where it is hiding.

This is my New Year's goal:
At least one post every week...with pictures!

It doesn't sound like much, but it's a start...

OWH Sketch #111

This is it for my all day craftiness...and I saved the best for last! The sketch that is! I'm not too sure of my version of it! :-)

In terms of DP, I really stepped out of the box on these! I will try this one again...using my more tradional methods, of course.

Card Patterns Sketch 155...

For some reason this one was a hard one for me. I think my focal was a little too big, so the rest of the elements seem crowded. Take one:

I think I like the second one better. Even though I didn't "stay true" to the sketch, it just feels right...and that's what matters the most. I will try this sketch again. I really need to conquer the space issue! :-)

Go To Sketch...

I have been MIA for awhile! I have made a few cards, but I have been "lazy"...I haven't felt like posting. It takes a lot of time to post everyday. (or even just once a week!) I think I will just try to post the cards with the challenge info without all of the ingredients for a short time. Maybe I will feel inclined to post more often!

Here is a few cards I did the first part of this month. It is a "Go to Sketch" from Paper Crafts Magazine January/February, 2012. I really love this sketch! Enjoy...

Fall to Layout #177

I made a couple of cards for the challenge at the Clean & Simple blog.
It was a little challenging for me at first, but turned out to be a great layout. The embossing is what made the difference for me. There was way too much "space" for me. Embossing is a wonderful way to fill the space, but keep the clean & simple aspect of the card. Enjoy...

Supplies: DP-Summer's End (Fancy Pants). Cardstock-Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip (SU). Scallop Circles (SU stash). Embossing Folders (ProvoCraft). Stamp-Mixed Bunch (SU). Dies-Dizzy Doily Duo (MFT). Punches-Build a Bird, Blossom (SU). Sentiments (EAD Designs).

Card Patterns...Sketch #152

Wow...I almost forgot to get my card entered into the Card Patterns challenge in time! I had them done. I just didn't get it posted. Here's the sketch...

Here's my cards. I usually make two cards from every card sketch. I try to use different DP and colors. This gives me two opportunities to accomplish the goal...Sometime one works and one doesn't! I love how both of these turned out. Hope you enjoy...
